WASHINGTON, D.C. (July 30, 2015) - Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP), the nation's largest nonpartisan women's business group, announced the appointment of new leaders to the WIPP Education Foundation. Rebecca Boenigk, founder and CEO of Neutral Posture, Inc., a woman-owned small business ergonomic seating and systems furniture manufacturer, was one of the new leaders appointed as Board member to the WIPP Education Foundation. Those chosen to serve are prominent women leaders from across the country with strong track records of success in business and engagement in the women entrepreneurship community. These women will assist the WIPP Education Foundation to provide and support education and research on topics critical to women's business ownership.

"We believe the expertise of this collective group will put the organization on the right trajectory to reach our goals."
Boenigk has earned countless awards and accomplishments including Small Business Person of the Year for State of Texas, Office Depot Businesswoman of the Year, Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Texas, the Top 100 Women Owned Businesses in Texas and Top 100 Privately-held Businesses in Texas. As an avid community supporter, Rebecca has served on several boards and most recently serves as a board member of ARZU and the Ronald McDonald House Charities Central Texas as well as the auction chair of The Belizean Grove. She has also been involved with the Women's Business Enterprise National Council, Business and Industrial Furniture Manufacturer's Association and the Women's Enterprise Leadership Forum.
