2014 Eclipse Award Honorees Announced at NWBOC Decades of Excellence II Conference

Lake Park, FLA: (May 6, 2014): The 2014 Eclipse Awards honorees were announced Thursday evening, May 8, 2014, at the National Women Business Owners Corporation's Decades of Excellence II awards gala at PGA National Resort and Spa, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The national award program was created to recognize, reward and celebrate exceptional achievements of certified women business owners. During the evening's ceremonies, sixteen Eclipse awards were presented to a diverse group of women entrepreneurs selected by an esteemed panel of judges. Eclipse Awards were given in three levels, Gold, Silver and Bronze and in six categories.

Rebecca Boenigk, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Neutral Posture, member of the Committee of 200 (C200) and Belizean Grove, was awarded the 2014 Eclipse Triumph Award Gold Award which recognizes woman business owners for outstanding leadership, ingenuity and perseverance in successfully navigating a challenge, barrier or obstacle affecting her company.

Neutral Posture, Inc. was awarded the 2014 Eclipse Award for Excellence in Innovation Gold Award and the 2014 Eclipse Award for Outstanding Company Culture Bronze Award in the Manufacturing Category. The Excellence in Innovation award honors a business for inventing or creating an innovative or unique product, technology, or concept, and then taking their innovation forward successfully to the marketplace while the Outstanding Company Culture award recognizes women business owners who have created an ideal work environment and participates in their community.

Founded in 1995, National Women Business Owners Corporation (NWBOC) leads the way as the nation's first national WBE certifiers. The goal of NWBOC is to increase competition for corporate and government contracts through implementation of a national certification program for women business owners.
